Host Dave Robertson focues on LEGO for the entire program. His first guest is Peter Espersen, head of Community Co-Creation at LEGO. Peter leads the charge for LEGO's crowdsourcing program to develop the next great LEGO design.
Next, Dave covers the academic perspective of this story with Mitchel Resnick, LEGO Papert Professor of Learning Research at the MIT Media Lab, who explains why LEGO toys succeed.
After that, we hear from Fast Company's Jonathan Ringen, who recently wrote a piexe where he described LEGO as the Apple of the toy industry.
Finally, it's a look from a company outsider and innovator himself. Dave speaks with Pixar's Angus MacLane, who most recently directed the Finding Nemo sequel, "Finding Dory," but he also has a connection with LEGO. Angus is one of the most recent winners of LEGO Ideas, a crowdsourcing platform for new LEGO designs. His Wall-E model will soon hit the shelves.
