Host Dave Robertson first talks to David Butler, VP of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at The Coca-Cola Company, who talks about how one of the world's largest and most successful brands thinks about design, and why the big player Coke is showing an interest in young startups. Next, Dave finds out what goes into making a bottle of perfume – from extracting smells to combining fragrances – from Ann Gottlieb, founder of Ann Gottlieb Associates, who explains the experimental process in making scents for brands like Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Victoria's Secret and Axe.
In the second half of the show, Dave looks at the future of malls with Kevin McKenzie, Chief Digital Officer at Westfield Labs, who explains how he is bridging the digital with the physical to revolutionize the in-store shopping experience. In the final segment, Dave talks to Henry Doss, Chief Strategy Officer and Executive in Residence with T2VC (a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm), who explains how the education world can do a better job in creating and evaluating an innovative culture.
