Host Dave Robertson first speaks to Dan DiMicco, the former CEO of Nucor and author of "American Made: Why Making Things Will Return Us to Greatness." DiMicco discusses how we can improve manufacturing in this country and what lessons we can learn by studying the U.S. steel industry. Next, Dave talks with Jeremy Gutsche, Founder of Trendhunter.com and author of "Better & Faster: The Proven Path to Unstoppable Ideas."
After that, Dave welcomes Ellen Lupton, Senior Curator of Contemporary Design at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, who discusses what it means to be a designer for the people, and the evolving field of great design. The final guest is Adam Crystal, Co-CEO of Silver Crystal Sports, who talks about how his business model is shaking up the sports merchandise industry.
